I have created a number of tables like the one above to act as memory aids for me when going back over the Rugby Union Laws.  The table above shows the main outcomes from a kick off where there is an exception to the Laws.

Where there are two shaded boxes in a row it means that the non-offending team have an option, so for example a kick-off directly into touch gives the option of a retake, scrum at the centre of the pitch, or a line out on the centre line.
